When I heard a book 17 was releasing and that it was Mike's "lost journals" I thought that maybe we would be getting some excerpt from earlier in the story.

For quite a few books it was a very different feel from what got me hooked initially. I was so relieved after book 16 that the series was finally over. of mine since the very first book, and just so glad he continues to be the solo voice for this much beloved series. Narrator Sean Runnette has been a fan fav. Looking forward to 'Altered Destinies' (book #18) - scheduled to be released on 08/16/22 (already preordered) - with great anticipation. I am more than thrilled he has found a path for continuing the story of Talbot and the many other amazing characters I have become so invested in over the course of the 17 amazing books in this series. Mark Tufo hooked me with book #1 and this series is the reason I became such an avid fan of the zombie genre. This episode was so much better than I thought possible as I began listening. New battles against the zombies, finding out more about each other, and some of the horrific humans who set their sights on undermining Mike's knowledge and authority - at every opportunity - as he passionately fought to protect his family and dear friends from harm. This edition provides information which was never revealed before. Follow Mike as he battles for his life and Paul has he battles to keep main stream US safe.Mark Tufo has done it again! Just when I thought I had said my - sad - final goodbyes to Mike Talbot, B.T., and the whole gang, he has resurrected their story in 'The Lost Journals'. The battles are to the death on varying terrains that are computer generated.

They want to better learn how to attack and defeat us. One reason, being for the entertainment value, the other reason being that they want to see how combative humans are, what our weaknesses and strengths are. The games are of two-fold importance for the aliens. The aliens have devised gladiator type games. Mike soon finds himself captive aboard an alien vessel, fighting for his very survival. This is where the story truly takes a paranormal twist. It is on their true 'first' date that things go strangely askew. It is one girl in particular that has caught the eye of Michael and he alternately pines for her and then laments ever meeting her. From there he escapes to college out in Colorado with his best friend, Paul, where they begin to forge new relationships with those around them. From the seemingly tyrannical mother, to girl problems to run-ins with the law. Growing up in suburban Boston he enjoys the trials and tribulations that all adolescents go through. A Michael Talbot Adventure: This first story is about an ordinary boy, who grows up in relatively normal times to find himself thrust into an extra-ordinary position.
